Overview:

FGCU and Stetson face off for the final time in the regular season, Saturday. The Hatters won a thriller, 75-72, Wednesday night, from the Edmunds Center. Stephan Swenson paced the Hatters with 23 points, and did most of his damage in the second half vs FGCU.

Stetson is led offensively by Jalen Blackmon, who is averaging 14.3 ppg. Stephan Swenson (10.6 ppg), and Josh Smith (10.3 ppg), also average double figures in scoring for the Hatters. Stetson is currently 10-5 overall in ASUN Conference play, holding down the 4th seed, if the tournament happened today.

FGCU is led offensively by Isaiah Thompson, who has carried this team all season, and is averaging 14.8 ppg. The Eagles need to split the season series vs the Hatters, to hold onto the 9th seed, which qualifies for the ASUN Conference tournament. FGCU controls their destiny by winning, and with their final three games at home, the Eagles take one big step towards the ASUN Conference tournament, with a win over Stetson University.
