
Jacksonville, FL- FGCU (18-10, 8-6 ASUN) saw their five game winning streak come to an end vs UNF (10-18, 6-8 ASUN), as the Eagles fell 70-64, from UNF Arena.

Overview:
FGCU wasn’t able to beat a UNF team that was without Carter Hendricksen and Jose Placer Saturday afternoon. The Eagles struggled in the first half and headed to halftime down by 12 points. The Eagles fought back in the 2nd half, and even took the lead for a moment. FGCU was led offensively by Kevin Samuel who had another monster game offensively finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the game. UNF was led offensively by Jadyn Parker, who scored a game high 16 points. The Eagles really needed a win vs an Ospreys team that was last place in their division. FGCU will have to be road warriors when the ASUN tournament starts, and face both Liberty University on the road, and Jacksonville University at home to conclude the ASUN Conference regular season.
