The Owls non-conference schedule included road games vs #22 West Virginia, #17 Georgia Tech and Auburn. KSU is led by Head Coach Octavia Blue, who is in her first season leading the Owls. She’s comes to KSU after 9 seasons as an assistant coach for the University of Miami. Amani Johnson is the leading scorer for KSU, and averages 12.8 ppg. 6’2 Alexis Poole (12.1 ppg) could provide a matchup problem for the Eagles, and is one of the best forwards in the ASUN Conference, so it will be exciting to see the Eagles face her. We expect Kierstan Bell to matchup with her, and this will be the matchup to watch.
