Fort Myers, FL- FGCU (10-2, 3-0 ASUN) beat Lipscomb University (5-6, 2-3 ASUN) 103-49, Saturday afternoon, from Alico Arena.

Stats:

FGCU shot 52% (37/71) from the field, 33.3% (10/30) from beyond the arc, and outrebounded the Bisons 46-31. The Eagles dished out 16 assists, had 8 steals, and 1 block in the game. FGCU forced 21 Lipscomb turnovers and had only 4 team turnovers of their own.

Overview:

FGCU once again dominated an improving Lipscomb team, and it’s just so impressive seeing the Eagles dominate teams like the Bisons in ASUN play. The win was FGCU’s 9th win in a row and they are on a roll right now. Kierstan Bell finished with another double double and had 29 pts, 12 reb while TK Morehouse continued her outstanding year with 28 pts for the Eagles. Lipscomb was led by Taylor Clark and Dorie Harrison who both finished with 13 pts.

Lipscomb only trailed by 9 at the end of the 1st Quarter, and went basket for basket with the Eagles to begin the game, but could not keep up with the Eagles pace after that.
