Overview:

The Eagles and Ospreys face off for the first time this season in ASUN Conference play, Friday night from Harmon Stadium. UNF is 11-13 in ASUN Conference play, and are coming off a weekend series where they swept UNA, and beat #6 South Carolina, Tuesday night from Columbia. Head Coach Tim Parenton has led the Opreys since 2017. UNF is led offensively by Austin Brinling, who is batting .376, with 2 HR, and 26 RBI’s. Matthew Clements leads UNF with 17 home runs, and Alex Lodise leads the team in RBI’s with 56.

FGCU heads into this series winners of their past three games, after taking two of three games at home vs Stetson University, and defeating FAU, Tuesday night at home. The Eagles are led offensively by Edrick Felix, who is batting .382, with 21 home runs, and 65 RBI’s. Felix was recently ranked the 5th best second baseman in the nation by D1 Baseball, also to add to the accolades in his first season with the Eagles. The Eagles are closing in on the end of the ASUN Conference regular season, with only four games left overall, including a three home game series vs KSU, and need to take the series this weekend vs the Ospreys to maintain their #1 seed as they head into the conference tournament. We are looking forward to some more great games this weekend vs UNF!
