The Eagles and Owls face off for the third time this season, Tuesday night from Swanson Stadium. FGCU is 0-2 vs FAU this season falling 8-4 on 4/4 on the road, and also losing 5-4 on 4/11 from Swanson Stadium.

FAU is led offensively by Nolan Schanuel, who is batting .456, with 17 home runs, and 53 RBI’s. Head Coach John McCormack has led the Owls since 1991. The Owls are currently 12-12 in C-USA play this season.

Joe Kinker earned ASUN Conference Player of the Week, after a strong week, where he hit .636 with 3 home runs, and 9 RBI’s to lead the Eagles to a series win over Stetson University. Kinker has had an outstanding Senior season overall, hitting .380, with 17 home runs (2nd on team in home runs), and 66 RBI’s (team leader in RBI’s). The Eagles look to avoid losing their third non-conference games vs FAU, and it should be a great mid week matchup vs the Owls.
