The Eagles and Bulls square off for the second time this season, Tuesday afternoon in Tampa. FGCU defeated USF 5-3 on 3/21 from Swanson Stadium. The Bulls are currently 17-24, and 6-6 in AAC play. Their leading hitter is FR Eric Snow, who is hitting .331, with 6 home runs, and 30 RBI’s. Bobby Boser (.319, 10 HR, 24 RBI’s), Daniel Cantu (.311, 10 HR, and 39 RBI’s), and Drew Brutcher (.306, 7 HR, and 27 RBI’s), provide major pop for the Bulls, and Head Coach Billy Mohl.

FGCU is coming off a weekend where they took two of three games vs Jacksonville State, and are currently in 1st place in the ASUN Conference at 13-5 overall. Edrick Felix earned ASUN Conference Player of the Week, after hitting three home runs, and driving in 9 runs. Felix is hitting .409, with 18 home runs, and 58 RBI’s, and having a phenomenal first season for the Eagles. The Eagles have outscored the Bulls 384-221 this season. Connor O’Hara earned ASUN Pitcher of the Week honors after striking out 14 batters in 11.1 innings for the Eagles. It should be a great game Tuesday afternoon in Tampa, as FGCU looks for the two game non-conference sweep of the Bulls.
