Overview:

Another offensive explosion occurred Tuesday night from Swanson Stadium, as the Eagles continue to dominate the opposition at home. The Eagles hit four home runs off the Golden Panthers, with Joey Kinker, Stephen Wilmer, Alejandro Rodriguez, and Harrison Povey going deep for FGCU. Kinker and Rodriguez each had 3 RBI’s to lead the Eagles offensively. Tyler Tipton started the game for FGCU, and went 4 innings allowing 3 earned runs. FIU was led offensively by Henry Wallen, who went 2/5 with a Grand Slam, and 5 RBI’s in the game. With the win, the Eagles have won four games in a row, and are 8-0 from Swanson Stadium.

What’s Next:

FGCU (8-1) heads on the road to face FSU (6-1), for a three game series, starting Friday night, from Dick Howser Stadium.
