#24 FGCU and Lipscomb University face off for the second time this season Wednesday night. The Eagles defeated the Bisons, 78-61, on 2/16, from Alico Arena. In that game, the Eagles were led offensively by Sha Carter, who finished with a game high 30 points.

Lipscomb is led offensively by 6’2 SO G/F Bella Vinson, who is averaging 14.3 ppg. Jalyn Holcomb (12.9 ppg) and Aleah Sorentino (12.7 ppg) also average in double figures in scoring for the Bisons. Head Coach Lauren Sumski has her team believing, and no matter the result vs the Eagles, the Bisons are going to be a difficult team to face in the ASUN Conference tournament.

#24 FGCU is led offensively by TK Morehouse, who is averaging 16.2 ppg. Sha Carter (13.8 ppg), and Alyza Winston (12.8 ppg), also average in double figures offensively for the Eagles.

The Eagles have won a share of the ASUN Conference regular season championship, and with a win, guarantee themselves the #1 seed, and home court for as long as they play in the ASUN Tournament. Liberty has won 13 games in a row, and are currently 15-2 in ASUN Conference play, and are the #2 seed as of today. The Flames face Bellarmine, Wednesday night from Freedom Hall in Louisville, to complete their regular season. For the Eagles, it’s just win vs a quality opponent in Lipscomb University.
