Overview:

FGCU and Lipscomb face off for the first time this season, and Lipscomb is 9-7 in ASUN Conference play, and in 6th place overall. Head Coach Lennie Acuff has led the Bisons since 2019. Jacob Ognacevic leads Lipscomb offensively averaging 16.7 ppg. Will Pruitt and Derrin Boyd also average in double figures with 10.0 ppg each. Any time you face the Bisons, you can’t forget about Ahsan Asadullah, who may be having an off year offensively (6.9 ppg, and 5.9 rpg), but is a huge body in the post to have to defend.

The Eagles are led offensively by Isaiah Thompson, who is averaging 14.9 ppg. FGCU has lost three of their last five games overall, and lost both games vs Stetson University last week. The Eagles are currently in 10th place overall, and need to win this game and vs Austin Peay, Saturday to have a shot at earning a spot in the ASUN Conference tournament.
