Overview:

Lipscomb is one game out of first place, and Head Coach Lauren Sumski, has this Bisons team on a four game winning streak headed into Thursday night’s game. 6’2 SO G/F Bella Vinson leads the team offensively, averaging 14.4 ppg, and when you combine her with 6’2 R-SO F Aleah Sorentino (12.9 ppg), it’s a duo the Eagles will have their hands full with in the post. 5’9 SR G Jalyn Holcomb is averaging 13.2 ppg, and we have seen her take over games in the past for Lipscomb when her team wasn’t playing at the high level they have this season. The Eagles realize that all it takes is one loss, and they could lose the #1 seed, since Lipscomb and Liberty are both tied for second place at 11-2. This is the most competitive the ASUN Conference has been in a long time, and it will be intriguing to see who finishes where seedingwise.
