Overview:

FGCU and Stetson face off for the first time this season, as the Eagles look to win their fifth game in a row, Wednesday night from Alico Arena.

Stetson is led offensively by Jamiya Turner, who is averaging 12.3 ppg. Head Coach Lynn Bria is in her 14th season leading the Hatters. The Hatters have been up and down in ASUN Conference play at 5-6 overall, with wins over UNF x2 , UCA, Bellarmine, and Jacksonville. Their setbacks have come against EKU x 2, Austin Peay, UNA, Liberty, and Queens.

FGCU is led offensively by TK Morehouse, who is averaging 16.4 ppg. The Eagles have been on fire offensively, and with the offense playing at the elite level they are, the defense has responded also. Alyza Winston (13.7 ppg), and Sha Carter (12.1 ppg) have been outstanding for the Eagles, and at any given moment, one of these teammates can step up to lead the Eagles offensively. This is the first of back to back games for FGCU vs Stetson, and we have seen great games between both teams, and it should be great watching Lynn Bria and Karl Smesko go head to head!
