What a game Saturday night in Lynchburg! The Eagles and Flames went back and forth for the whole game, until the Flames took over in overtime, outscoring FGCU 15-5.
TK Morehouse finished with a game high 27 points to lead the Eagles offensively. Sophia Stiles continued her outstanding play of late, and finished with 24 points in the game. Liberty was led offensively by Kennedi Williams, who scored 24 points. Mya Berkman had another huge game too, finishing with 18 points. FGCU held a 73-68 lead with 26 seconds left in the game, until Dee Brown hit a layup, and Emma Hess hit a game tying three point field goal with 3 seconds left in the game. It was another classic game between both teams, and you can bet we will have a third game to settle the series, in the ASUN Conference tournament!
