Overview:
What a game today between the Eagles and Bears from Hawkins Arena! Both teams were shooting lights out, and the Eagles three point shooting in the 2nd half, was enough to secure the victory. It’ll be a treat getting to see these two teams face off again on 12/29, from Alico Arena.
FGCU was led offensively by TK Morehouse who finished with 28 points, while Alyza Winston (23 points), and Sha Carter (23 points) both finished in double figures. Mercer was led by Jaron Dougherty, who finished with a game high 32 points, and did it all for the Bears. Amoria Neal-Tysor also had a big game, finishing with 20 points. It was an exciting game, and the Eagles have to keep this intensity, as they get closer to closing out non conference play.
