Overview:

FGCU and Grambling State wrap up the Rainbow Wahine Showdown Sunday in Honolulu. The Eagles are 1-1 in the tournament, and Grambling State is 0-2. FGCU lost to #2 Stanford (93-69), and defeated Hawai’i (63-50). Grambling State lost to Hawai’i (63-47), and lost to #2 Stanford (87-50).

Grambling State has one victory on the season vs New Orleans, and their losses include on the road vs Tulane, Arizona State, Grand Canyon, and San Diego State. Head Coach Freddie Murray is in his 6th season with the Tigers. 5’8 SO G Colbi Maples leads Grambling State averaging 12.0 ppg.

FGCU heads into this game 4-1 in the state of Hawai’i, as part of the Bank of Hawaii Classic, and Rainbow Wahine Showdown.
