Overview:
FGCU couldn’t overcome a 5 run 1st inning deficit, as FAU evened the season series up at 1 Tuesday night. Max Matzolf (2-1) was excellent in relief, striking out 11 Eagles in 4.2 IP. Dylan Goldstein and Caleb Pendleton each drove in 2 runs to lead the Owls. Alejandro Figueredo, Alejandro Rodriguez, and Harrison Povey each had an RBI for the Eagles in the game. These two teams will face off one last time on May 10th from Swanson Stadium.
