Overview:
FGCU looks to take the first two games in the season series vs FAU, as they beat the Owls 5-1 last Tuesday night in Fort Myers. The Eagles are 3-0 since facing FAU, after sweeping Stetson. FAU lost 2 out of 3 games on the road against Old Dominion. Nolan Schanuel leads the Owls in batting average, batting .388 and has only struck out 3 times in 152 at bats this season. Gabriel Rincones Jr leads the Owls with 13 HR on the season. Rincones Jr. (13 HR), Schanuel (12 HR), and Goldstein (11 HR), provide the power and pop for this Owls lineup. Freshman Bryan Boully will earn the mid week start for FAU, and he also started last week’s game vs FGCU.
