Overview:
The Eagles dropped another ASUN Series, and it’s tough to lose a series like this one, because the Eagles could have made up some ground in the standings with a series win over the Ospreys. FGCU won the series opener Thursday night 9-2, and were led offensively by Joe Kinker who had 2 HR, and 5 RBI’s in the game. Harrison Povey also had a HR and 3 RBI’s in the game. In games 2 and 3, UNF took both games, and were led offensively by Adrian Sweatt (3 RBI’s) in game 2, and both Abraham Sequera (2 RBI’s), and Isaiah Byers (2 RBI’s) in Game 3. The Eagles have to find a way to combine great offense with sound and timely pitching, and get back to their roots that won so many games early in both non-conference play, and ASUN Conference play after back to back ASUN Conference series losses.
What’s Next:
