Overview:

The Eagles enter their second ASUN series of the season, and their first series at home during ASUN play. While the Eagles completed a three game sweep of Stetson in their first conference series, the Dolphins were swept by Kennesaw State in their three game series. Offensively, the Eagles have driven in 213 runs in 21 games, and JU has driven in 92 runs in 19 games. The Eagles saw their season come to an end last season after losing to JU in the ASUN Quarterfinals. FGCU looks to get back on track after a rough loss to USF, and continue their hot hitting. The Dolphins are led offensively by 5’9 SO INF Jesus Pacheco, who is hitting .323, with 20 hits, and 6 RBI’s. Head Coach Chris Hayes in his 5th season leading the program. JU has a top 25 win over #10/#13 FSU at home on 2/22. FGCU is led offensively by 6’2 R-JR OF Brian Ellis, who is batting .403, with 31 hits, 3 home runs, and 21 RBI’s.
