Overview:

What a game Wednesday night from Swanson Stadium! FGCU was down 4-0 in the bottom of the 2nd, and the Eagles rallied to tie the game up courtesy of a Harrison Povey 2 run HR, an Alejandro Figueredo RBI single, and field error, which scored Luis Rodriguez. NDSU rallied though, and took the lead in the 8th inning courtesy of a Hunter Koep two run home run. The Eagles remained resilient, and Figueredo came through with a 2 RBI double, which scored Ian Farrow, and Joey Kinker (the go ahead run). Joey Mugavero earned the win, getting the last four outs of the game, and the Eagles secured the victory.

What’s Next:

FGCU (13-4) faces Stetson University (12-5) to open ASUN Conference play, for a three game series starting Friday night from Melching Field at Conrad Park.
