Overview:

The Eagles season has been extended, as they accepted an invitation into The Basketball Classic. FGCU faces Detroit Mercy of the Horizon League, in the first round of the tournament. The Titans went 10-7 in Horizon League play, and lost in the Horizon League Quarterfinals to NKU. Head Coach Mike Davis is in his 4th season leading the Titans. Antoine Davis averages 23.9 ppg, and is the leading scorer for the team, while also being 3rd in the nation in scoring. FGCU is led offensively by Tavian Dunn-Martin, who averages 21.1 ppg. Head Coach Michael Fly, who was previously fired, will still coach the Eagles for this final stretch of games until the Eagles lose. The Eagles need to find the motivation to continue their season, as next season provides many of questions to what the roster will look like under newly hired Head Coach Pat Chambers.
