Overview:

#1 FGCU faced a strong test in their ASUN Quarterfinals matchup vs UNF. The Eagles raced to a 16-5 lead, before the Ospreys took a 17-16 lead courtesy of a 12-0 run. Jaida Bond finished with a team high 16 points off the bench for the Ospreys, and played her best basketball as part of that run to bring UNF back into the game. The Eagles went to the half with a 32-26 lead in this game.

Kendall Spray finished with a game high 24 points, shooting 7/10 from beyond the arc. She is a major reason the Eagles were able to withstand the Ospreys. Kierstan Bell also had a huge game, finishing with 22 points in the game. The Eagles were able to limit ASUN Defensive Player of the Year Jazz Bond, to only 10 points, and 3 rebounds in the game, which was huge because Jazz is the type of player that can go off at any moment, and one of the best players to ever play for UNF.
