Overview:

The Eagle’s offense will strike at any moment, and can’t be slept on! FGCU rallied for a 6 run bottom of the 2nd, and every run was scored with 2 outs in the inning, When a team gets timely 2 out hitting, that team will win plenty of games, and that was the turning point in Wednesday night’s game. Mason Miller (1-1) was excellent, pitching 5.1 innings, allowing only 4 hits, 0 runs, and struck out 9 Bonnies, while walking only 2 hitters. Joe Kinker led the Eagles’ with 4 RBI’s, and unloaded the bases in the bottom of the 2nd inning, to give the Eagles a 6-0 lead. Alejandro Figueredo and Alejandro Rodriguez (RBI) continue their hot hitting, with Figgy hitting a 3 run HR in the bottom of the 5th inning, to give the Eagles a 12-0 lead. Ian Farrow also had 2 more hits, scoring 3 runs, and driving in a run in the process. Like we said before, there are no holes offensively for the Eagles, and FGCU’s starting pitchers, and bullpen has looked extremely solid during this seven game winning streak.
