Overview:

The Eagles head into this series with the Pirates, winners of their past seven games. FGCU is clicking on all cylinders offensively, and the pitching has been solid lately. Seton Hall has struggled out of the gate, losing all six of the games they have played this season. The Pirates were swept by UNC (3 games), FIU (2 games), and lost one game to the University of Michigan. Offensively, Seton Hall has only scored 9 runs in 6 games played this season also. The Pirates are gonna have to pitch strong to stay competitive in this series, or they will be leaving Swanson Stadium 0-9, Sunday afternoon. Head Coach Rob Sheppard has led the program since 2004. The Pirates leading hitter is Devin Hack, who is batting .381.

FGCU is led offensively by JR INF Alejandro Rodriguez, who is batting .500, and has 11 runs batted in this season for the Eagles. Lead off hitter Brian Ellis is hitting .417, and has hit 3 home runs, while driving in 15 runs batted in this season. FGCU Head Coach David Tollett is getting the best out of his team right now, and you hope the Eagles will keep rolling this weekend.
