5’7 GR G Kendall Spray 10.8 ppg, 2.9 rpg

5’9 GR G Kerstie Phills 9.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg

The Eagles saw a season long 15 game winning streak end at the hands of Stetson University, Saturday night, but still are 22-2 overall. FGCU is going to have to find a way to contain 6’2 F Alexis Poole (11.2 ppg) in the post. Kerstie Phills has been playing well offensively, though has been doing some of her best work defensively, for the Eagles, so expect a Phills vs Poole battle in the post. FGCU beat KSU 100-65 on 1/12 and completely dominated the Owls that night. KSU has gone 5-5 since the loss to the Eagles.

FGCU is going to have to shoot the ball much better than they did vs Stetson University on Saturday night. TK was completely taken out of the game in the 2nd half, and we may see that gameplan more, so the Eagles will have to lean on Kendall Spray, and other teammates to score so the offense can have a flow to it. FGCU gets back on track Thursday night vs KSU as the Eagles continue their strong season, with only a few more games left until the ASUN Tournament.
