Overview:
FGCU blew out UNA and put on a show Wednesday night from Alico Arena. You don’t usually get a ton of games like tonight, so it was great to see Tavian and Kevin get some time off in the last ten minutes of the basketball game. Zach Anderson was seen on crutches in the 2nd half of the game, and that is a horrible sight, since Franco Miller Jr suffered a season ending injury towards the end of Tuesday’s practice. Dakota Rivers played meaningful minutes for FGCU, and looked healthy, and will be counted on for the Eagles, if Zach is out for an extended period of time. FGCU was led offensively by Tavian Dunn-Martin, who finished with a game high 18 points. Joining him in double figures were Kevin Samuel (14 points), Carlos Rosario (12 points), Matt Halvorsen (12 points), Austin Richie (10 points), and Caleb Catto (10 points).
What’s Next:
FGCU (16-9, 6-5 ASUN) faces Stetson University (11-13, 5-6 ASUN) Saturday afternoon from Alico Arena at 4 PM.
