Overview:

#20 FGCU faces an ASUN newcomer in Central Arkansas. The Sugar Bears came to the ASUN after playing in the Southland Conference. Head Coach Sandra Rushing is in her 10th year leading UCA. UCA is led offensively by 6’0 JR F Lucy Ibeh, who averages 14.0 ppg, and 10.1 rpg. She will be a tough matchup for the Eagles with Kierstan Bell injured, so expect Kerstie Phills (9.3 ppg) to step in to guard her. The Sugar Bears played a non-conference schedule which featured games at Oklahoma, at Kansas State, and Arkansas.

#20 FGCU comes into this game as winners of their past 12 games, and doing it in dominant fashion. The Eagles crush teams in the 2nd half, and TK Morehouse (14.8 ppg) is playing her best basketball this season, as she has taken over with Kierstan Bell out indefinitely. Expect the #20 Eagles to continue their ASUN Conference dominance, with another double digit victory on the road.
