Overview:

In the first half of this game, the Eagles were in a dogfight with Bellarmine. The Knights at one point had made more 3 pointers than FGCU, and wouldn’t go away. Kendall Spray hit two huge 3 pointers, to stretch the Eagles halftime lead to 7 points (48-41), and FGCU ran away with the game in the 2nd half, courtesy of a 32-9 3rd Quarter, and never looked back. TK Morehouse led the Eagles offensively, scoring a game high 28 pts, Kerstie Phills finished with 19 pts, and 10 rebounds, dominating in the post for FGCU. Kendall Spray was the driving force from beyond the arc, and finished with 14 pts (4/9 from beyond the arc). Bellarmine was paced by Bailee Harney, who scored 15 pts. The Knights looked like a young team that will be a problem in future, but as of now the veteran FGCU team was able to pick them apart in the 2nd half.
