FGCU shot 45.6% (31/68) from the field, 37.5% (15/40) from beyond the arc, and outrebounded EKU 36-33. The Eagles dished out 19 assists, had 20 steals, and 4 blocks in the game. FGCU forced 25 Colonels team turnovers, while having 14 team turnovers of their own.

Overview:
In the first game without Kierstan Bell, TK Morehouse took over, and scored a season high and game high 33 points, to lead #20 FGCU to victory vs EKU. The Eagles offense didn’t skip a beat, and dominated EKU in every facet of Thursday night’s game. The Eagles scored 53 points in the 2nd half, to run away with the game. EKU never led in the game, and it was a complete effort from Coach Smesko’s team. This team has so much depth, and it’s so exciting to see the whole team contribute the way they have. 13 players saw minutes for #20 FGCU in Thursday’s victory over EKU.
