Overview:

The Owls head into this game having not played a game since 12/30 vs Tocco Falls due to COVID-19 postponing games vs Liberty and JU. KSU is led by Head Coach Amir Abduh-Rahim, who is in his 2nd season leading the Owls. KSU has a trio of guards scoring more than 12.0 ppg, and a solid group of players. KSU played non-conference games on the road vs Wake Forest, Iowa State, Creighton, and Nebraska. The Eagles went 0-1 vs Kennesaw State last season, losing 80-63 in a game where Terrell Burden (20 pts), Spencer Rodgers (18 pts), Chris Youngblood (13 pts), and Nate Springs (10 pts) scored in double figures. This game was played at Life University last season, and the 2nd game which was supposed to be played the next day was cancelled.

FGCU looks to get back on track after losing a heart breaker on the road at Jacksonville University Saturday night. The Eagles can’t continue to lose games like the one this past weekend, if they are hoping to build off last year’s ASUN Semifinal appearance.

Prediction:

FGCU 71 KSU 65
