Overview:

FGCU swept Jacksonville University in a three game series in April, and looks to do more of the same this weekend. It’s a huge series for the Eagles when it comes to ASUN seeding. The Eagles are 10-5, while the Hatters are 9-6, headed into this weekend’s ASUN conference games. The Hatters have 5 conference games left, including 4 games on the road vs UNF (May 7-9, May 16th), and a home game with Jacksonville University on May 15th.

FGCU will need to continue to swinging hot bats vs the Dolphins, since their pitching staff boasts a 6.82 ERA overall, and a terrible record as a team. Don’t sleep on this Jacksonville team though, since they took 2 out of 3 games vs the Stetson Hatters this past weekend.

FGCU completes a three game sweep of Jacksonville Universty and heads into the ASUN postseason on a high note.
