Overview:

FGCU looks to build off the last series they played vs the Ospreys, which the Eagles swept all 3 games on the road on April 1-3. Both teams have identical 8-4 ASUN Conference records, and this is a huge series for both teams, as we head into the ASUN Conference tournament in less than a month.

The Ospreys are led offensively by Alex Kachler who was the ASUN Conference Player of the Week last week and is having having a stellar season behind the plate and hitting .392 on the season. FGCU continues to be led offensively by Brian Ellis who is hitting .366 overall for the Eagles.

UNF heads into the series as winners of 5 games in a row, including a 3 game home sweep of Jacksonville University, and blowout win over FAMU.

This weekend includes Senior Day on Sunday which and you wonder where this team would be without Richie Garcia, Marc Coffers, Cam Krzeminski, Mason Studstill, and Hunter McGarry. Congrats to the Seniors on this team, and we are excited to see how this team does headed into the ASUN Tournament.

Prediction:

FGCU needs to sweep UNF, and will get the job done, just like they did in the first week of April.
