Fort Myers, FL- FGCU (13-10) dropped a tough game to FAU (15-9) Tuesday night, losing 13-11 to the Owls. The Owls won 3 out of 4 games vs the Eagles this season.

Overview:
FGCU jumped out to an 8-0 lead courtesy of home runs from Joe Kinker (2), Stephen Wilmer, Mac Moise, and Richie Garcia. FAU chipped away at the Eagles lead after that, scoring 7 runs in the top of the 4th to take the lead 9-8, courtesy of a Victor Castillo grand slam.
The Eagles would tie the game up in the bottom of the inning courtesy of a Joe Kinker ground out, and the game would go back and forth, with the Owls taking the lead for good in the top of the 6th, while adding on a run in the 9th.

FGCU heads on the road to face UNF (9-11, 3-0 ASUN), for a three game series starting Thursday night.
