Overview:

FGCU and Stetson both had their aces on the mound Friday night in game 1 of the series and Nick Durgin was absolutely filthy for the Hatters striking out 14 Eagles in 8 innings pitched. FGCU rebounded in game 2 and the bats woke up and they headed into the rubber game looking to win the series Sunday afternoon.

The Hatters dominated FGCU in game three of the series, scoring 11 of their 13 runs from the 2nd to 4th inning. ASUN play has just started, so expect the Eagles to get back on track after a tough first series. Richie Garcia had another big series for the Eagles, including going 6 for 6 Saturday night.
