Overview:

FGCU faces a tough test to begin ASUN Conference play in Stetson University. The Hatters are undefeated in ASUN play, after sweeping UNA at the end of February. Stetson is 1-3 vs USF this season, while the Eagles went 6-0 vs the Bulls. Another opponent in common for both teams is FAMU, who Stetson swept in 4 games at home, while the Eagles split a 4 game series vs the Rattlers last weekend. The Hatters beat #23 Alabama on the road this season.

FGCU heads into this game after splitting a four game series on the road vs FAMU. The Eagles woke up winning the last two games, after some tough losses to start the series. Brian Ellis continues to swing a hot bat at the top of the order for the Eagles, and will be counted on in this series vs the Hatters.
