Overview:

This series had everything in it! We saw our ace Mason Studstill bring it for 7 innings in Game 1, the Eagles go back and forth with USF in game 2 with closer Hunter McGarry shutting the door for a series win, and FGCU hit around in a 10 run inning, and never look back as they swept the Bulls. The offense was so impressive in this series, and USF had won 7 games in a row, before facing FGCU, so the sweep feels even better! Richie Garcia had RBI’s in all three games, and is playing some of his best baseball lately. This lineup from top to bottom has so much power in it, and when you have Brian Ellis leading off, you are in good hands. Cam Krzeminski had a great series too with 5 RBI’s overall. #5 Miami is next and we can’t wait to see what the Eagles look like against a top 5 team!

What’s Next:

FGCU remains at home to face the #5 University of Miami (8-4), Wednesday night at 6:30 PM.
