USF heads into this series on fire, winners of their last seven games, after a four game home sweep of FAMU, and a three game road sweep of Stetson University. Stetson was 10-0 and ranked before being swept by the Bulls so those are some very impressive wins.
The Eagles began the season with a sweep of the Bulls, and have gone 4-4 since the first series. The offense has been great though and while Mason Studstill has been the glue and the stud we always know he can be, and you can’t say enough about how well Gus Carter has pitched for FGCU. Expect the Eagles to get back on track, end this small losing streak, and have a great weekend vs a tough team in USF, who they had success against earlier in the year.
FGCU takes 2 out of 3 games vs USF.
