Overview:
This is the first meeting between the Sycamores and the Eagles. The Sycamores are coming off a three game road sweep of FIU. ISU has beaten the University of Tennessee twice, when the Volunteers were ranked #16, and the University of Pittsburgh once. ISU is currently #9 in RPI, while FGCU is ranked #8.
Head Coach Mitch Hannahs is in his 8th season leading the Sycamores. Indiana State University is also his alma mater.
FGCU looks to get back on track after a frustrating loss to #21 FAU Sunday afternoon. The Eagles did fight back though in the game, so expect the Eagles bats to continue to come through, as well as the pitching to get the job done. FGCU beat #21 FAU Friday night behind 8 strong innings from Mason Studstill.
