Overview:

What an incredible regular season for the #24 FGCU Eagles. Kierstan Bell and TK Morehouse are the premiere tandem in the conference, and this team continues to play stronger basketball the later the season gets.

Liberty will be most likely the team the Eagles play for the ASUN Championship if these games in the tournament go the way they most likely will go. Coach Carey Green will have his team ready and it will be one great showdown.

The Eagles clinched the ASUN Regular Season title and #1 seed, by beating Liberty 80-60 Friday night. In that game, Kierstan Bell led the Eagles with 26 pts, 8 rebounds. TK Morehouse finished with 17 pts, and Tyra Cox contributed 16 pts.

We are super excited for the ASUN Tournament and excited to see how the Eagles play as they look towards the bigger picture, and an NCAA Tournament berth.

What’s Next:

#1 FGCU travels to Kennesaw State University, the host of the ASUN Women’s Basketball Tournament, and will face the winner of the #8 KSU/#9 JU game on March 11th at 2 PM.
