Overview:
The Eagles faced two different UNF teams this weekend. FGCU steamrolled the Ospreys in the first game Saturday afternoon, but UNF was much more competitive in the Sunday game. The Eagles got it done this weekend with Kierstan Bell scoring 49 pts combined in the two games and limiting Jazz Bond to only 27 points combined in the games. UNF will be a tough team as a #3 seed in the ASUN Tournament, and there’s a chance these two teams meet again in the Semifinal. All eyes remain on the Liberty/FGCU matchups this weekend.
What’s Next:
2nd place Liberty (17-5, 12-2 ASUN) heads to Alico Arena for two huge matchups, as the Eagles head into the ASUN Tournament after this weekend. The Eagles win the ASUN regular season title outright, with one win over the Flames this weekend.
