Overview:

What a great series for FGCU! After a tough loss Friday night, the Eagles completely rebounded and took all 3 games after that. The starters pitched really well for the Eagles this weekend. The bats got going and it’s fun to see this team click the way they did this weekend. There were different heroes every game this weekend too.

Joe Kinker had a great series and was the hero in game four for the Eagles with 3 RBI’s. We were really impressed with Chris Seymour, who won the first game of the doubleheader Sunday, and closed the second game too which made history for FGCU. It’s great to have Chris closing games too if Hunter McGarry needs a break since he closed game three.

What’s Next:

FGCU heads on the road to face FAU (6-1) Friday March 5th and 7th, while facing the Owls at home on the 6th. Since playing FGCU, the Owls swept Seton Hall University.
