Florence, AL- FGCU (14-2, 7-0 ASUN) won their 13th game in a row Saturday afternoon beating UNA (5-13, 4-5 ASUN) by 27 points.

Stats:

FGCU shot 45.5% (35/77) from the field, 43.6% (17/39) from beyond the arc, and outrebounded the Lions 42-37. The Eagles dished out 23 assists, had 9 steals, and 1 block in the game. FGCU forced 21 UNA team turnovers while having 9 turnovers of their own.

Overview:

FGCU blew out UNA convincingly in every facet of the game Saturday afternoon. The Eagles made 17 three pointers and the Lions couldn’t keep up with FGCU’s athleticism.

FGCU had five players finish in double figures and were led by Kierstan Bell who finished with another double double (21 pts, 11 reb), Emma List (17 pts), Tyra Cox (16 pts), TK Morehouse (15 pts), and Andrea Cecil (10 pts). Balanced scoring continues to win games for the Eagles, and it’s great to see the depth contribute too for the team. UNA was led in scoring by Macey Lee who finished with 15 pts.
