Fort Myers, FL- FGCU (4-2) routed Webber International University, Friday night at home, 112-39.

Stats:

FGCU shot 60.3% (44/73)from the field, 38.2% (13/34) from beyond the arc, and outrebounded Webber 47-26. The Eagles dished out 30 assists, 15 steals, and 8 blocks in the game. FGCU forced 28 Warriors turnovers and had 12 team turnovers.

Overview:

FGCU did what they needed to do to a really bad NAIA team in Webber International University. It was exciting to see the Eagles empty their bench and play 13 players in the game. The largest lead in this game was 76 for FGCU.

JR G Dom London had a career high 22 pts in the game and hit 4 3’s. Cyrus Largie again finished in double figures scoring 14 pts. Franco Miller Jr just missed a triple double in the game finishing with 12 pts, 10 reb, 7 asts. It was a block party for Dakota Rivers who had 6 blocks in the game for the Eagles to go along with 7 pts. Webber was led by Kris Goettert who finished with 7 pts in the game. The Eagles dished out 30 assists in the game which tied a single game record.
