Fort Myers, FL- FGCU (3-2) fought back from down 10 points, to beat Temple University (0-2) 78-69, Sunday afternoon at Alico Arena.

Overview:

It was the Mia Davis and TK Morehouse show Sunday afternoon in Fort Myers. Mia (34 pts, 12 reb) and TK (25 pts) respectfully went off for their teams and it was a game of runs for both teams. Kierstan Bell had her 4th career double double, and 2nd double double this season for the Eagles (14 pts, 11 reb). Emma List (12 pts, 9 reb) and Aaliyah Stanley (11 pts) also finished in double figures in scoring for FGCU. Tyra Cox made her season debut for the Eagles also in Sunday’s game.

Stats:

FGCU shot 39.7% (27/68) from the field, 27.8% (10/36) from beyond the arc. The Eagles were outrebounded 53-38 by the Owls. FGCU dished out 13 assists, had 14 steals, and 7 blocks in the game. The Eagles forced 20 Temple turnovers and had 12 team turnovers of their own.
