Fort Myers,FL- FGGU (1-0) dominated FMU from the start, en route to a 86-40 win Wednesday afternoon from Alico Arena.

Overview:

FGCU had six players finish with double digits in scoring. Freshman Madie Antenucci led the Eagles with 18 points, Andrea Cecil (13 points), Sheahen Dowling (12 points), Andrea Blair (12 points), Tanner Bryant (11 points), and Emma List (10 points) rounded out the double digits scorers. FMU was led by Keaynna Tolbert who finished with 13 points.

Stats:

FGCU shot 40% (29/72) from the field, 24% (10/41) from beyond the arc, outrebounded FMU 49-37, dished out 20 assists, had 15 steals, forced 24 Lions turnovers, and had 13 team turnovers.
