7. Kennesaw State

The Owls look to improve from a 13-16, 6-10 ASUN season, and also return top scorer, 6’2 Senior forward Alexis Poole (17.2 ppg). 5’6 Junior guard Amani Johnson (15.0 ppg) has emerged as a legit star in the making in the ASUN, and is someone that could put the rest of the conference on notice.

8. Lipscomb

Lipscomb once again struggled and stumbled to a 7-23, 4-12 ASUN season. The Bisons do return their top four scorers from last season. 5’11 Senior forward and leading scorer Taylor Clark (14.3 ppg), joins 5’9 Sophomore guard Jalyn Holcomb (12.6 ppg), 6’3 R-JR center Dorie Harrison (10.2 ppg) and 5’5 Sophomore guard Casey Collier (10.0 ppg). Head Coach Laura Sumski heads into her second season at Lipscomb, and hopes to make improvements that will help the Bisons in the near future.

9. Bellarmine

The Knights enter their first season in NCAA Division I basketball and join the ASUN, after an 18-11 season in the Great Lakes Valley conference (NCAA DII). Head Coach Chancellor Dugan has a huge test ahead of her, but can lean on 5’5 Senior guard Breia Torrens (13.2 ppg) and 5’7 Senior guard Tasia Jefferies (10.6 ppg) as key scorers in this offense.
