Fort Myers, FL- #24 FGCU (22-2, 9-0) looks to extend their winning streak to 12 games Saturday afternoon vs UNF (13-9, 6-3) from Alico Arena.

#24 FGCU faces UNF for the 2nd time this season after beating the Ospreys 72-50 on January 13th at UNF Arena. In the previous game, Nasrin Ulel led the Eagles with 16 points. The Eagles were able to take care of business vs UNF on the road and it was a huge win because the Ospreys had beaten FGCU previously when the Eagles were ranked #25.

The matchup to us that matters most is defending 6’4 Jazz Bond in the post. The Eagles have struggled in the rebounding battle recently with some of these taller teams and Bond could have her way like 6’2 Alexis Poole (23 pts, 12 rebounds) did when KSU faced FGCU. A fast start like the Eagles had vs JU could prove dividends since before losing to Stetson on 2/3 the Ospreys had won 4 ASUN games in a row.

UNF averages 64.1 points per game. The Ospreys shoot 38.9% from the field and 34.4% from beyond the arc. UNF dishes out 11.0 assists and on the defensive end of the ball average 6.2 steals and 3.8 blocks per game. The Ospreys average 15.5 team turnovers per game.
