Fort Myers, FL- #25 FGCU (14-2, 1-0 ASUN) overcame a slow first half to beat Lipscomb (3-11, 0-1 ASUN) 82-56. Tytionia Adderly led the Eagles in scoring with 21 points and was joined in double figures by Nasrin Ulel (18 points), Keri Jewett-Giles (16 points) and Kerstie Phills (10 points). Lipscomb was led by Casey Collier and Taylor Clark who both finished with 14 points.
Statistics:
FGCU shot 45% from the field (31/69) and 25% from the 3 point line (9/35). The Eagles outrebounded Lipscomb 42-32 and dished out 15 assists, 11 steals, and 2 blocks. FGCU forced 21 Bisons turnovers and only had 11 team turnovers of their own.
