Fort Myers, FL- The FGCU Women’s Basketball team (13-2) begins ASUN Conference play Saturday afternoon at home vs Lipscomb University (3-10) at 4 pm.

Overview:

Lipscomb is led by Head Coach Lauren Sumski, in her 1st season leading the Bison. She is one of the youngest coaches in the NCAA at the age of 27 years old. Her job is to rebuild a program that won four games last season and has constantly struggled and finish near the bottom of the ASUN Conference.

The Bison average 65.2 ppg, shoot 39% from the field, 32% from the 3 point line and average 33.6 rebounds per game. Lipscomb averages 16.2 turnovers per game, and dish out 10.1 assists per game.
