LIBERTY/FGCU PREVIEW

Fort Myers, FL- FGCU (3-12) begins ASUN Conference play Thursday night at 5 PM from Alico Arena vs Liberty University (14-1) on ESPNU.

Outlook:

Liberty heads into this game after losing their first game of the season on the road to LSU (74-57) Sunday afternoon. The Flames are led by Coach Richie McKay who is in his 7th season leading the team.

Liberty burst onto the seams last season finishing 29-7 (14-2 ASUN) winning the ASUN Championship game against Lipscomb on the road (74-68) and making it to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament defeating #5 seed Mississippi State (80-76) and then losing to #4 Virginia Tech (67-58).

Liberty returns the entire nucleus of the team with the exception of Lovell Cabil and are picked to win the ASUN Conference in both the media and coaches polls.
